We are a provider for RAILROAD MEDICARE.

Coverage is same as for regular Medicare.

Routine eye examinations for eyeglasses are NOT COVERED.

Eye Examinations are COVERED for evaluation of patient presenting with symptoms (other than blurred vision), or examination of patient with established medical diagnosis (glaucoma, cataract, dry eye, retinal problems, loss of vision, etc.).  Patient is responsible for co-pays and annual deductible.

EYEGLASSES are covered ONLY after cataract extraction.

FOR RAILROAD EMPLOYEES REQUIRING SAFETY EYEWEAR:

We will gladly help you select appropriate safety eyewear, and will help you submit your forms for ordering safety eyewear.  Current prescription required.   Annual eye examination recommended.
